Vintage Taxidermy Idea Leuconoe Butterfly in square frame. This is truly an amazing framed butterfly. It is white with blackish spots. It is in a brushed metal frame. The frame measures 8.5”x7.5” The butterfly measures 5”x3.5” The glass metal frame has a velvety glittery backdrop that the butterfly is mounted to. On the back there is a metal label that says. Idea Leuconoe Clara Formosa. The back has a wooden mounting board with an hole like to hang it on a wall. It also say Dan Gilmore PH.D 1983. This framed butterfly is in very good condition. There is a smudge like spot at the top center. As pictured.
