A find from an estate sale! Artisan fabricated brooch appears to be brass with a “C” clasp and a flatter blade made for loosely woven fabrics such as a shawl or scarf. I’m fairly certain it’s signed on the lower half above the semi circle formed by the pin, but I can’t tell what is marked.
Brooch is 2 1/4” in diameter. I see four asps in the center, but my impression of what’s represented here may be totally wrong. I feel this may have come from the British Isles. This brooch is in lovely condition.
