Carefully made by Ruland in Marlborough, MA, curved jaw couplings are comprised of two hubs pressed fit with an elastomer "spider" with the same OD. Curved jaw couplings are zero-backlash by design and are well-suited to servo applications where accuracy of torque transmission is required. Hub material is type 2024 T351 high strength aluminum with M3 forged alloy steel set screws. Maximum is 8,000 RPM. RoHS and Reach compliant. Also called a curved jaw coupling, flexible jaw coupling, shaft coupling, or coupler.
