The Orignial Beater Blade and Pour Chute Set by New Metro Design makes mixing with a stand mixer faster, cleaner, and more efficient. The set is engineered for use with most KitchenAid stand mixers. The Beater Blade is an electric mixer attachment which thoroughly mixes batter, eliminating the need to stop and scrape the bowl manually. It ingeniously improves on the functionality of standard V-shaped beaters offered with high-end stand mixers by crafting a high-quality, enhanced blade that includes a flexible rubber "wing" down the entire length of both sides of the blade which beats, scrapes, folds and incorporates ingredients thoroughly for fool-proof baking. The wing-system design acts like a wiper blade that continuously scrapes sides and bottom of bowl while it mixes virtually eliminating hand-scraping and batter build-up on the blade. Beater Blade's state-of-the-art design continuously scrapes batters during mixing, which can speed up the mixing process by as much as 50 percent. By eliminating the need to turn off and on the mixer to scrape the bowl, Beater Blade also reduces wear of the mixer motor. The universal tall, wide rimmed surgical steel pour chute directs food straight to the center of the bowl where it belongs and is ideal for wet or dry ingredients. Simply attach the chute to the bowl and lock it into position so it doesn't interfere with the mixing process. The Beater Blade included with Model PC-5L is not intended for use with tilt head mixers. For use with KitchenAid stand mixer models K4SS, K5SS, KG25GOX, KG25H3X, KG25H7X, KG25HOX, KM25GOX, KP50PS, KPM5, KPM50, KSM5, KSM500, KSM50HDP, KSMC50, and K5-A (manufactured after 1950), for which the standard flat beater is 7-3/8"L x 51/2"W. The pour chute fits all stainless steel mixing bowls except NSF Certified KitchenAid 5 Quart and is not suitable for glass bowls or flared edge work bowls..
