A favorite in shade gardens, the Mini Blue Mouse Ears Hosta plant has a distinctive look and color. Its soft, blue-green leaves curl gently and offer substantial texture. The plant grows in a tight, symmetrical mound, perfect for outdoors in the front part of a border that gets only filtered light, or dotted here and there in the shade garden. Watch for the leaves to curl into the "mouse ear" shape. Bell-shaped lavender flowers bloom on fairly tall stems in the summertime.
