ORGANIC HERBAL SAUNA WHISK: A mix of different tree twigs and aromatic plants like peppermint, calendula, camomile, jasmine, meadowsweet, birch, maple, linden, hazel, fern, rowan, yarrow, daisy. Very aromatic whisk. Length: 20" Weight: 7 oz. MANUFACTURING: Sauna whisks are made during the summertime, usually till the Midsummer. In this period tree leaves are rich with essential oils and aroma. However the cutting and manufacturing period for every kind of sauna whisk may vary. Our sauna whisks are 100% organic and handmade by Latvian native. After the tree twigs are cut, they are tied on using thin pieces of natural linen string and dried in well ventilated barn. When whisks are dry enough they are individually packed into bags that provide the whisks with air circulation and protect from mustiness. Individual bags also makes whisks more convenient to store. WHY SHOULD YOU USE SAUNA WHISK? Sauna whisk massage boosts blood circulation in the body. After massage with sauna whisk there’s nothing better than dipping oneself in a cold-water pool. The difference of temperatures will provide an immediate blood rush and will keep in high spirits for a long time afterwards. HOW TO USE SAUNA WHISK? Experienced sauna goers use sauna whisk as the second part of their bath procedure. First step: spend time in sauna to open all the pores of body and cleanse themselves from toxins. Afterwards take a shower. Meantime sauna whisks are soaked in a tub of water (30 minutes in cold water and afterwards 5 minutes in hot water).
