The thin-walled glass fiber tube is characterized by a wall thickness of up to 2mm and a fiber volume content of up to 60% with a smooth surface. These glass fiber tubes are highly flexible and thus versatile in application. These glass fiber profiles are ultra-light with an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. Winding is a wire wound in the axial direction, while braiding is a plaiting at an angle. The combination of winding and braiding results in an even stronger construction. These thin-walled tubes are used, among other things, in measurement equipment in agriculture. External conditions do not affect the measurement equipment due to the insulating properties of the profiles.
