From concept to launch in 7 days: New Emergency Relief Bed

The journey began with a bed. As COVID-19 cases escalate, media reports depict overcrowded ICUs, beds lining hallways, and temporary hospitals in tents. These and other immense pressures on frontline responders in pandemic epicenters worldwide are deeply felt by our teams, who understand our customers' needs without needing to read the news. In 1938, Dr. Homer Stryker invented the Turning Frame bed, driven by a desire to serve caregivers and patients from his personal experience. He famously advised, 'If your tools don't work, make them work. If you can't make them work, make some that do.' Last month, one of our teams took this to heart.
