BenQ HT2050 Full HD Home Theater Projector – Excellent Condition – Needs New Lamp Only – Complete in Box!
For sale is my beloved BenQ HT2050 1080p home theater projector in truly excellent cosmetic and functional condition – the only issue is the lamp has reached end-of-life (common and expected after several thousand hours). The projector powers on perfectly, menus work, fans are quiet, lens is pristine, and there are zero dust blobs, color wheel issues, or other problems.
This is an incredibly easy and inexpensive fix – just pop in a new lamp module (10-minute job, no tools needed beyond a Phillips screwdriver).
Lamp replacement cost (current 2025 prices):
• High-quality compatible lamp (Osram or Philips bulb): $75–$95 on Amazon or MyProjectorLamps.com
• Official BenQ OEM lamp: ~$170–$190
After a $80–$95 lamp swap you’ll have a projector that still sells for $350–$450 all day long in full working order.
